Lata takes the double for Valk
The second race of the European 250cc Championship was also won by Valerio Lata. The GasGas rider managed to win both heats ahead of Cas Valk. The SS24 rider had to fight the pain after suffering a number of painful ribs in Oldebroek. Francisco Garcia completed the top three in both heats and scored his first podium spot in the EMX250! Ivano van Erp (10-11) scores in both rounds but drops to fifth place in the standings.
Bradley Mesters did not play due to a crash earlier in the week. Dave Kooiker will start in the MX2 and the Belgians unfortunately did not qualify for the races. The championship continues on May 4-5 at the Agueda circuit in Portugal.
