Tomorrow is the peaceful march “All4one on Wheels”
The problems surrounding the motocross circuits in our country already led to a first demonstration in February, in which motocross riders and farmers protested together in Mol. Tomorrow April 1 (believe us, this is really not an April Fool's joke) there will be a follow-up with a silent peaceful march that departs from the motocross circuit in Lommel. Any sport or hobby is welcome.
The attacks by local residents and all kinds of nature associations have shaken up the motocross world and this resulted in the establishment of the Facebook group "Save all motocross tracks, time for peaceful actions together with the farmers" at the beginning of this year. On Saturday, February 17, farmers and motocross riders came together in Mol to demonstrate, together with acquaintances from the motocross world such as Joël Smets, Hans Corvers and Jacky Martens. So tomorrow there will be a follow-up with a silent march with all kinds of vehicles. The organization will discuss the practical side of the parade with you below.
First of all, we as organizers would like to thank you in advance for your participation in the peaceful march scheduled for April 1, 2024. We are thoroughly tired of seeing everything we love so much disappear! That is why this is our second action that we are organizing.
Hopefully it will be an unforgettable day for everyone and we will show the world what we stand for in a positive way. Please note: it is not possible to join the procession along the way due to insurance issues. Every driver is responsible for his fellow passengers!
A little general explanation about the day
The organization will be present around 08:00 am to make the necessary preparations. You will find us at the entrance of Lommel moto track, Marie Curiestraat 2 in Lommel. May we urge you in advance that no vehicle enters the site without reporting to the entrance.
Only participating vehicles are allowed onto the site after signing the registration form, we ask non-participating vehicles to park their cars on the other side of the street. We can show who we are in each sport, try to put our sport in the positive spotlight in an acceptable way.
Our ride will cover a distance of 100 km, we leave at 10:30 am sharp at Lommel moto track. Be sure to be there XNUMX minutes in advance, because we will have another media moment there.
From Lommel moto track it goes over the southern ring towards Mol Rauw, Zilvermeer, Mol Sluis, Dessel, Geel tenaard, Kasterlee, Corsendonk, Arendonk, Oud-Turnhout, Kasterlee, Geel, Mol and Lommel. Please do not consume alcoholic beverages before the ride.
We have a stopover in Retie (Schoonbroek), where toilets are provided. The organizers are: Frank Janssen, Laura Versmissen, Wim Michiels and Grietje Van Gorp. May we urge you not to dump litter along the way, not to block intersections, not to give priority to priority vehicles, not to cause destruction. The organizers are not responsible for any accidents.
We wish you all an unforgettable day.
