Technique: This is how charging a Stark Varg works
Now that the Stark Varg can be seen on the motocross tracks, it is good to take a closer look at the charging infrastructure of the electric dirt bike. The Stark Varg comes with a stand that also functions as a charging station.
So you need a socket (230 V) to charge the internal battery. The connection to the motor is very simple but some actions are required depending on the circumstances. Charging the Varg is a routine procedure. Still, it is important to understand the different charging modes and charging procedures.
Procedure when the engine is off.
- Remove the cap from the charging port.
- Connect the charger to your power source.
- Connect the charging cable to your VARG.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the LED lights up static blue.
To charge the machine while it is in standby, neutral or on, use the same procedure as above. However, charging starts automatically without having to press the POWER button (step 4).
To keep the temperature low while charging between rides, Stark Future recommends using the Active Cooling Charching.
To activate ACTIVE COOLING CHARGING:
- While the VARG is charging and the LED displays static blue, press the UP button once. If this is successful, the LED will light up statically light blue.
- To deactivate the ACTIVE COOLING CHARGING mode, press the UP button once.
In the video you can see again the actions required to charge the battery.
