Kasimir Hindersson takes the victory in Harfsen
On a cloudy but dry 'Circuit Peppelenbos' Kasimir Hindersson won the first race of the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross 125cc. The Finn wins with a first and second place ahead of the favorite Gyan Doensen (4-1) and Markuss Ozolins (2-3). The battle was fierce because a number of newcomers in this class managed to immediately join the leading group. The best newcomer was Jarne Bervoets, the Belgian managed to finish both heats in fifth place.

When the starting gate drops, Mick Kennedy takes the best start. The GasGas rider is followed by Cole McCullough and the very tall Hindersson. On the second lap the fast Irishman makes a mistake and a lap later the 17-year-old Hindersson passes the leader. He tries to distance himself, but Ozolins and Dani Heitink think differently. In the first half of the race, Pelle Gundersen also seems to join the leaders. However, the Norwegian has some problems with hard forearms, causing him to see Bervoets and Doensen pass. Hindersson gets some space at the front, but when the stragglers come into view the tension increases. Team Motorsport Motovation manages to hold on to the lead at the back and wins ahead of Ozolins and the strong riding Heitink on the MJC-Yamaha. Doensen (Racestore-KTM) had a very bad start and he then needed some time to pass Bervoets. The Limburger managed to cross the finish line in fourth place ahead of Bervoets (MJC-Yamaha). The 14-year-old Gundersen (KG MX Team) is still satisfied with sixth place ahead of the 16-year-old Kennedy (GripMesser Racing Team). The Swede Freddie Bartlett (Team Motorsport Motovation) finishes eighth ahead of Douwe Van Mechgelen (SDM Racing) and Dean Gregoire (Voss KTM Racing), who fights back from last to tenth place.
2e some
The start of the second heat is better for Gregoire and the 13-year-old rider takes the best start ahead of Bervoets, Ozolins and Hindersson and McCullough. In the first lap Bervoets takes the lead and Ozolins also passes Gregoire. Moments later, Ozolins takes over the lead from Bervoets, who then sees three more men pass. The Latvian is allowed to set the pace for a moment, but Hindersson takes over the lead not much later. The top five are close together and move around the circuit like a train. Doensen organizes the match well and when leader Hindersson seems to be distancing himself, the Limburger intervenes. Doensen comes into second place at the expense of Ozolins while McCullough and Bervoets still complete the top five halfway through this great race. The battle at the front becomes increasingly fierce and when Doensen launches the first attack, it is repulsed. In the last round the former 85cc world champion still strikes and now with success. Doensen wins ahead of Hindersson and Ozolins is still put at a distance. McCullough manages to cross the finish line in fourth ahead of Bervoets, who has been 15 since yesterday. Bartlett sends his KTM across the finish line in sixth place ahead of Gregoire and Fantic rider Van Mechgelen. Jayson van Drunen (SHR Motorsports-Yamaha) is good for ninth place, ahead of 85cc world champion Heitink, who is fifth in the daily rankings!
