Jamie Lucas takes victory in Den Hout
Jamie Lucas won the race in the MX Open Inters class based on the second round. In Den Hout, after finishing second in the first moto, Lucas quickly took the lead in the second moto and kept René Albers behind him. After his heat victory, Albers had no choice other than second place in the daily rankings. Stan van Zoggel was able to take his place on the lowest step of the podium with two third place finishes in the heats. He managed to keep Bram van den Hoek behind him in both heats. John Cuppen completed the top five in the daily rankings.
In the MX2 Inters class, Kevin van Dam dominated both heats. With two heat victories, he was the rightful winner of the day. With two second places in the heats, Belgian Brian Peirsman finished second in the overall standings. Just like last week in Gemert, Sjors Verhees was able to take the podium with two third place finishes in the heats.
