Entry list MXGP of Argentina
A new season of the Motocross World Championship will start next weekend in Argentina. The MXGP and MX2 classes will be at the starting gate for the first time in 2024 to collect points in the battle for a new world title.
Just like last year, points can also be earned in the qualifying heats on Saturday. The winner receives ten points, second place is good for nine points and goes down to tenth place, which is good for one point. The Belgians can look forward to Jago Geerts, who will start as a rookie in the MXGP, and the young talents Sacha Coenen and his twin brother Lucas. Liam Everts is recovering from a broken thumb and will be back at the second GP in Spain.
In MXGP, Jorge Prado (GasGas) will defend his world title while Andrea Adamo (KTM) will try to do the same in MX2. The MXGP of Patagonia is one to look forward to as the brand new Monster Energy Triumph Racing Team makes its debut with Mikkel Haarup and Canden McLellan. The Triumph TF 250-X showed in the spring competitions that it has a lot of potential.
