Brian Bogers under contract with Fantic Factory Racing Team
Fantic Factory Racing MXGP is pleased to welcome Brian Bogers alongside Glenn Coldenhoff for the remainder of the 2024 season. Bogers will make his debut on the Fantic XXF 450 during the MXGP of Sardegna in Riola Sardo (6 and 7 April).
The 27-year-old motocross rider from Eindhoven scored his first GP podium finishes in the MX2 class in 2016 and 2017 and made an early transition to the premier class in 2018 at the age of just 21. After successfully overcoming a series of injuries, the Dutchman enjoyed his best season yet in 2022.
Bogers finished sixth in the MXGP World Championship as one of the top-ranked riders and fulfilled his childhood dream with a great GP victory in the deep, punishing sand of Lommel, the home of motocross. He will try to achieve more success with Fantic Factory colors.
Brian Bogers: “I'm very lucky at the moment because I never thought I would get the chance to race in MXGP this season. You can imagine that I not only grab this opportunity with both hands, but with both hands and feet! Thank you to Fantic Factory Racing MXGP for this great opportunity, I am highly motivated and focused on making this work.”
Louis Vosters, team owner: “Brian Bogers needs no introduction, winning an MXGP overall in Lommel on perhaps the most demanding circuit on the calendar speaks for itself. Together with Fantic and our proven MXGP team, we are confident that he can be a permanent leader at the top of our sport. The first training sessions have gone well, he is adapting well to the bike and we look forward to seeing Brian on the Fantic XXF 450 soon.”
Mariano Roman, CEO Fantic Motor SpA: “We are very happy that a standout rider like Brian Bogers is joining our Fantic family. We have followed his strong performances over the past years and we are sure he will make us proud. Together with his compatriot Glenn Coldenhoff, we are confident that we will have a great season on our return to the highly competitive MXGP class.”
