Liam Everts starts his GP campaign next weekend
The sports season can now really start for Liam Everts! On Thursday, the KTM factory rider confirmed his participation in the GP of Intu Xanadu, near Madrid.
Winner in Italy in Mantova, second in Sommières: the preparatory races went well for our compatriot. Unfortunately, he crashed just over a month ago during training at the Grevenbroich circuit in Germany. Everts has since undergone a recovery period that went according to plan, allowing him to make his return two weeks after the opening of the season in Argentina.
This weekend Everts will be behind the starting gate for the second round of the Motocross World Championship at Intu Xanadu in Spain.
Everts finished fourth in the MX2 World Championship last year and is one of the favorites in the race for the world title this season. However, the Dutch Kay De Wolf, who took the lead at the end of the Argentine round, already has 56 points to his name.
