World Championship Sidecarcross calendar finally announced!
Today the calendar for the World Championship Sidecar Cross has been finalized. The 2024 Sidecar Cross World Championship will be fought over ten Grand Prix, with the European Quad Championship also appearing during five of these. It is now officially known that Loket is organizing the World Championships for national teams for Quads and Sidecars on September 28/29.
There was also a provisional blockade for a Grand Prix on the weekend of September 1, but this has been cancelled. The rest of the dates have not been changed and the World Cup calendar is therefore final. The season kicks off in Portugal on April 21, with the Grand Prix in Heerde in the Netherlands three weeks later on May 11/12, with the European Quad Championship also on the program. Two weeks later the Grand Prix is in Plomion in Northern France, just across the border with Belgium. Via Kramolin and Gdanks, the championship arrives just over half way in Lommel, Belgium, on June 29/30. Two weekends later they go to Iffendic France with the German Grand Prix in Bessenbach the following week on July 20/21. After a two-month break, the Grand Prix will again take place in Germany in Rudersberg and the final of the World Championship will take place the following week in Colla, in the north-west of Italy.
The following week, the best three teams per country in the sidecar and quad classes will go to Loket where the World Cup for national teams will be decided on September 28/29.
