PHOTO: Marc-Antoine Rossi to the MX2 World Championship with GasGas
Last November, the official RedBull GasGas Factory Team announced the arrival of Marc-Antoine Rossi to the team led by Davide De Carli. The young Frenchman will make his debut in the MX2 class at GasGas this season together with Simon Laengenfelder. Meanwhile, Jorge Prado defends his MXGP world title on the GasGas FC450 Factory.
Marc-Antoine Rossi, who participated as a wildcard in the French GP last year, showed his potential at the highest level by finishing eighth and sixth in the heats in front of his home crowd. It was a promising performance for Rossi, who will race his first full world season with the official GasGas team this year.
Rossi spent the winter with us in Belgium and Italy and has now moved to Rome to be closer to the team. “This is a dream come true for me,” says Rossi. “I can't thank the De Carli family enough for making this possible. Davide is not only my team manager, he is also my coach. He helps me a lot. It's also great to have reigning MXGP World Champion Jorge Prado as a teammate. This year I will try to get into the top five, that is my goal.
