Liam Everts is back in Spain
Liam Everts crashed last week during training at the Grevenbroich circuit in Germany. Our compatriot stood up with a broken right thumb. An injury that complicates the preparations of the official KTM rider and forces him to sit out the first GP of the season in Argentina.
After a fall during training on Wednesday, Liam Everts underwent surgery the next day to stabilize the fracture and start his recovery as quickly as possible. The operation went perfectly and the recovery time required is estimated at one month.
Unfortunately, Everts will not be able to participate in the first of the 20 GPs in the MXGP season on March 9 and 10. If everything goes according to plan, he can compete again during the second MXGP round on March 23 and 24 in Spain, at the intu Xanadu circuit near Madrid.
