Steve Holcombe is currently without an employer
So the rumors that have been circulating since November are true: Steve Holcombe is leaving Beta. This was previously accidentally announced during a product presentation at the EICMA trade fair in Milan.
It is with disbelief that the news reaches enduro enthusiasts: Holcombe has given Beta no fewer than 2016 world titles since 9. In the meantime, Nathan Watson has been recruited by the team to drive for the Italian brand in 2024.
It is not known what Holcombe himself will do, although there are many rumors. Some mention that Honda RedMoto is aiming for an E1 world title in this way. The move to this team, if it involves a one-year contract, would fuel another rumor: That Holcombe would be included in the Triumph enduro team from 2025.
Steve Holcombe has not announced anything yet, but that news may not be long in coming.
