Herlings falls due to laggard in Vlissingen
After Jeffrey Herlings won the first heat during the beach cross in Vlissingen, things went wrong later in the afternoon. The KTM rider comes into contact with a fallen straggler, causing 'The Bullet' to also fall. The Brabander is said to have broken his collarbone in this crash, but he contradicts this via his social media! It is not yet clear whether this injury will keep the 5-time world champion sidelined.
