Dunlop expands its range of enduro tires with the new Geomax EN91 EX
Dunlop has unveiled the latest addition to its enduro tire range: Geomax EN91 EX. Based on the race-winning Geomax EN91, the new EN91 EX rear tire is designed for both highly experienced enduro riders racing in the most extreme events and weekend enthusiasts looking for improved performance for their enduro rides.
This super-soft tire promises an unprecedented level of performance, offering improved grip, especially on the most challenging and slippery terrains, as well as superior traction in a wide spectrum of landscapes. It is designed for use in races where FIM compliant and/or street legal tires are not required by the regulations.
Geomax EN91 EX has an uncompromising competition compound for trials and offers superior grip on exceptionally challenging and slippery terrains. The block pattern features higher blocks to help riders gain traction on loose terrain, while the construction improves absorption with modified carcass properties, providing better feedback and control for riders. Unlike standard EN91, the carcass has greater stiffness, allowing better surface penetration for greater traction.
Luca Davide Andreoni, Motorcycle Marketing Manager, Dunlop Europe, said: “With the launch of the Geomax EN91 EX, Dunlop is taking enduro tire technology to new heights. Specially designed for highly experienced enduro riders, this tire provides unparalleled grip and traction on the most challenging terrain, allowing them to deliver ultimate performance in the toughest races.”
The Dunlop Geomax EN91 EX is produced as a rear tire, available in 140/80-18 and can be combined with a Geomax 80/100-21 or 90/90-21 front tire depending on rider preference and terrain conditions. Geomax EN91 EX is best used with the Dunlop Enduro foam for optimal performance. It will be available from September 2023 in Europe.
