Vanluchene wins 2nd heat and GP from Loket
Marvin Vanluchene/Nicolas Musset also won the 2nd heat in Loket. In the initial phase Bax was able to catch up, but gradually Vanluchene opened a small gap and took the victory ahead of Bax in second place and Lielbardis in third place. Wilkinson/Millard in fourth place took a total of third place on the final podium next to Bax and winner Vanluchene.
Vanluchene immediately took the holeshot and managed to retain this first place, despite Bax breathing down his neck again during the first few laps. However, Vanluchene opened up a gap and Vanluchene/Musset won the second heat and the Grand Prix. After the strong opening phase, Bax/Cermak had no choice but to follow and finished second again. The Lielbardis brothers became best of the rest and took Keuben, who was in third place, and managed to run out and finish steadily in third place. Wilkinson/Millard eventually finished fourth and the British took third place on the final podium. That would actually go to Keuben/Rietman, who was riding fifth, but in the last half lap, driver Rietman was overcome by the heat and fainted in the box! Now the Swiss Heinzer gratefully took over fifth place from the unfortunate Keuben and Rietman, who was transported to the hospital to recover.
