Hammal wins, bad day for Gifting
Without the injured Bobby Bruce, Isak Gifting was able to decide the REVO British Championship MX2 early. However, the Swede had a difficult day and the party had to be postponed. 23-year-old Taylor Hammal (1-3) won the race in Consett ahead of Jorgen Matthias Talviku (4-2) and former EMX250 champion Mel Pocock (3-4). Gifting (6-11) remains the leader in the championship, Hammal climbs to second place and is 42 points behind.
The final of the championship will be held in Abington at the Oxford Moto Parc on September 10.
