Jannes Vos scores well in DMoMX final
The last race of the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross went well for Jannes Vos. At the Oldebroek circuit, the South Hollander finished eighth in both heats. The student also finished eighth in the daily rankings and the championship ended in ninth place. The victory on the Gelderland circuit went to Dani Heitink who also secured the title.
Oldebroek has been a fixture on the KNMV calendar for many years. The Circuit Oldebroek Foundation always has their affairs down to the last detail. The circuit is only available for events and these are therefore perfectly organized. The circuit is quite hard because there is little riding, in training Jannes quickly feels at home on the KTM prepared by RK Services and he manages to set a ninth fastest time.

The start of the first heat is good and the rider, who has been supported by HGS Exhausting for years, comes out of the first corner in about tenth place. The student then manages to work his way up to ninth place in the first round. One lap later, a spot is gained and this eighth place is never in danger again. A connection with the predecessor is sought, but this is not easily won. Well into the second half the difference with seventh place becomes smaller, but unfortunately it is not possible to make a profit.

The Ultimate Suspension will be adjusted for the second round because later in the day the circuit will look different due to the other classes. The start of the second heat is almost a copy of the first. The 13-year-old rider starts in the top ten and manages to complete the first round in eighth place. Not much later, Heuver arrives and in the third lap he manages to pass Jannes. At the same time, leader Gregoire is struggling with a problem, which means that the rider from Reeuwijk is able to hold on to eighth place. The second round also ends in eighth.
