GP Sidecars Czech Republic on 19/20-08 to Loket instead of Kaplice!
The Sidecar Cross Grand Prix in the Czech Republic on August 19/20 is forced to change location. Kaplice can no longer be a battleground and so they move to Loket in the north-west of the Czech Republic.
According to various Czech sources, the local authorities around Kaplice have suddenly sold a piece of land to a project developer. This ground was desperately needed during the organization of the Grand Prix, but this was suddenly no longer possible.
Promoter WSC quickly looked for a new organizer and Loket again wanted to step in to take Kaplice's place. For example, the Czech GP on August 19/20 has been saved, but is forced to be held next to Loket castle instead of in Kaplice. No punishment for the general fan because Loket showed very nice GP sidecar cross last year.
