Mathis Valin wins in front of his own audience
For the second time this year, Mathis Valin has won a race at the European 125cc Championship. The GasGas driver finished first and second on the Villars Sous Ecot circuit. Valentin Teillet's pupil thus won the match in front of a frenzied home crowd. Janis Martins Reisulis (6-1) finished second ahead of Maximilian Werner (3-3). Gyan Doensen has to settle for a supporting role, he scores six points this weekend with a 17th and 19th place.
The Belgians Douwe Van Mechgelen (29th) and Ian Ampoorter (30th) are gaining important experience under varying circumstances. This championship will continue on June 3-4 at the Kegums circuit for the Latvian GP.
