Kay Karssemakers on stage in Agueda
During the third race of the European 250cc Championship, Kay Karssemakers managed to score another podium. The 18-year-old rider, third in Riola Sardo earlier this season, now finished second on the Agueda circuit. The victory went to Andrea Bonacorsi with a first and third place, a victory with an Orange edge thanks to the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team. Ferruccio Zanchi was allowed to climb onto the podium again as he did two weeks ago in Arco di Trento.
Cas Valk finished eighth in the second round ahead of compatriot Ivano van Erp and Valerio Lata, who won the previous race! Jens Walvoort takes 1 point during the second heat and Nicolas Vennekens crosses the finish line in 27th.
This championship will continue on May 6-7 at the Arroyomolinos circuit for the Spanish GP.
