Herlings about his race in Arco di Trento
The fourth Grand Prix of the season was held at the Arco di Trento circuit. Despite finishing ninth in the first moto, the KTM rider still managed to finish on the podium. The 28-year-old rider finished third and also occupies third place in the standings of the FIM MXGP World Championship. Here the five-time world champion tells his story.
Jeffrey Herlings:
“In the first moto I got a good start but Febvre slipped and crashed. I couldn't avoid him anymore and fell too. In the second moto I started around eighth place but then the beast mode came on. To drive defensively does not always work. I thought let's go back to the old Jeffrey and go for it. I showed what I am capable of. We lost a number of points this weekend but I hope to be able to make up for them in Portugal.”
