Is the Everts family moving to Portugal in the foreseeable future?
In an article published today in the Gazet van Antwerpen, Stefan Everts talks about his future plans. According to the same newspaper, a Dag Allemaal publication this week stated that he wants to move to Portugal within ten years.
He thinks the situation in our country is very bad. Everts says that politics, and especially “the greens”, have killed motorsport. “There is always someone who shuts down a circuit and then it ends. There is still room for racing in Portugal.” The former world champion contracted malaria in Congo in 2018. Ultimately, he would lose eight toes due to lack of blood circulation. The open wound in his heel never completely healed. “I sometimes dream about my healthy feet.”
