After missing out on the Monster Energy AMA Supercross title, Cooper Webb has announced that he will have to undergo surgery. The Yamaha rider has a thumb injury and requires surgery to recover properly. As a result, the 28-year-old rider will miss a large part of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship that starts at the end of this month in Pala. Despite this injury, Webb finished second in the supercross championship behind Jett Lawrence.
