Van der Vlist surprises with switch to Yamaha
After Britt Jans-Beken and Amandine Verstappen, Shana van der Vlist is the next to switch to Yamaha. The Apeldoorn native will compete in the FIM WMX World Championship on a YZ250F with the support of Peter van de Laar. Last season, Van der Vlist finished fourth in the final standings, just four points behind Larissa Papenmeier. Van der Vlist managed to win the day in Riola Sardo, and in 2021 she won the competition in Lommel.
