CFS Magescq: Tveraen wins the quads, Vandendijck on the podium
The second race for the French sand championship is this weekend at the Magescq circuit. Today the quads were sent into the loose sand. The shortened race was won by Norwegian Christopher Tveraen.
Yesterday the floodgates stayed up all day long above the Bud Racing Training Camp circuit, causing the whole place to be flooded. Ultimately, it was decided to shorten the series for quads to 1 hour. Tveraen won the heat ahead of Jean-Marie Bernede who led the field for five laps. The Belgian Oliver Vandendijck finished third in this tough mud race. Randy Navaux, the winner of the first competition in Loon Plage, finished tenth today. However, he started well in P2 but later dropped back due to an unprecedented problem. The full results can be read via this link.
