Many Belgians on the podium during RSP Classic in Arco di Trento
Last weekend, many motocross riders with old motorcycles traveled to Arco di Trento to compete in a Nations Cup on the beautiful MXGP circuit. It was the second edition of the RSP Classic with country teams for Twinshocks and Evo engines.
The Belgian Twinshock Team from Maris Racing with Brenda Wagemans, Ronny Lambrechts and Alain Maris had to start heroically between the Evo engines and won the race. Team Belgium EVO with Dennis Verbruggen, Mike Vanderstraeten and Marco Briers managed to finish third in the race for national teams for SuperEvo machines. That series was populated by other top performers such as Michele Cervellin and Brad Anderson.
The battle for victory was between Team England and Team Italia. The British eventually won before the Italians and Belgians. In the individual series, Julien Van Der Auwera managed to win the competition in the SuperEvo class. This competition also brings the curtain down on the 2022 vintage motocross season.
