Motocross riders know that cornering speed is a crucial element of the sport. Anyone can drive fast, but taking a bend at the highest possible speed is something else. We come up with 15 tips to increase your cornering speed and to avoid flickering in the scenery every time.
- Brake a little earlier.
- Be mentally prepared for what is to come.
- Avoid freewheeling.
- Choose the correct body position.
- Analyze your transition from standing to sitting.
- Keep your elbows high.
- Sit as far forward as possible.
- Don't let your foot drag in a turn.
- Use your front brake to apply pressure to the front end.
- Look far enough ahead in the bends.
- Operate your throttle with gentleness.
- Hang in the bend.
- Choose your lines.
- Press the outer footrest.
- Choose the right curve curve.
