Jeremy Van Horebeek is going to the MXoN after all!
Last weekend Jeremy Van Horebeek crashed in Saint-Jean-d'Angely. There was mention of several broken ribs, a perforated lung and a pinched nerve in the shoulder. After a thorough diagnosis, the injuries appear to be less serious and “The Jerre” can travel to RedBud for the Motocross of Nations.
After the crash, team manager Johan Boonen had already contacted Brent Van Doninck to replace Van Horebeek, but that is no longer necessary. After a check-up with a doctor, it turned out that there were no fractures and the pinched nerve in the shoulder would not be a problem to shine one more time at the Nations. Team Belgium will therefore go to the US with Jago Geerts, Liam Everts and Jeremy Van Horebeek. In any case, it will be the last MXoN for Jeremy. He previously announced that 2022 would be his last season in MXGP.
