Thomas-Kjer Olsen is on the mend!
In his real crash during the qualifying race in the MXGP of Latvia in Kegums last Saturday, Thomas Kjer Olsen (DIGA Procross KTM) a serious head injury. It was then decided to put the Dane in a medically induced coma. In recent days, TKP's health has improved so much that he has since regained consciousness.
Olsen is able to move his arms and legs and is making progress in his recovery every day. To offer Thomas a familiar environment, his transfer from Latvia to Denmark is planned this week. The long and difficult rehabilitation process will also begin there.
Team manager Justin Amian: “The most important thing for Thomas in the coming weeks is that he gets enough rest to ensure his recovery is as good as possible. For this reason, visits are unfortunately not possible during this period. The family and team would like to thank everyone again for the messages about Thomas' health and the prayers for him. We are all looking forward to seeing him back on the track soon, healthy and with a smile!”
