Factory Huskies are now on the road with BRISK spark plugs
Husqvarna Motorcycles announces a new technical partnership with spark plug manufacturer BRISK. Thanks to the new agreement, all Husqvarna Factory Racing machines competing in the Motocross and Enduro World Championships from 2022 will be equipped with BRISK spark plugs. Riders will benefit from the improved performance of BRISK products for their motorcycles.
BRISK has a rich history in spark plug production, dating back to 1935. It quickly became a major supplier to the automotive industry. More recently, the Czech brand has focused on specializing in competition-oriented products.
The new technical partnership will see Husqvarna Factory Racing rely exclusively on BRISK spark plugs in 2022 for all 2-stroke and 4-stroke machines used in the FIM Motocross World Championship, the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship and the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
Robert Jonas – Vice President of Motorsports Off-Road: “It is an exciting step for Husqvarna Factory Racing to enter into this new partnership with BRISK. If you are going to race at the highest level in motocross and enduro it is important to use the very best products for better performance and reliability. That's why we collaborated with BRISK. Their products have been thoroughly tested and are without a doubt an excellent component for the team to use. With the 2022 racing season just around the corner, BRISK will play an important role in ensuring our riders can perform at their very best and I look forward to a successful racing season.”
Florian Ebner – Head of Technology Offroad Motorsports: “BRISK is the perfect partner for Husqvarna Factory Racing. We tested their products for over a year and saw remarkable improvements in engine performance. We have already built an excellent working relationship with them and their experienced technical staff. What's really important is that they have in-house production in Europe, close to our race shop, and the ability to provide tailor-made solutions depending on our needs. All these features really make BRISK an excellent partner for Husqvarna Factory Racing.”
Hana Kajnarová – Commercial Director BRISK: “The partnership with Husqvarna Factory Racing is really exciting for us. In recent years BRISK has focused on producing a range of specialist motorsport products, so for the team to place their trust in BRISK gives us great satisfaction, knowing that our extensive research and development has been recognised. On behalf of BRISK, I would like to wish the team and drivers the best of luck for the 2022 season.”
