CFS: Milko Potisek also wins in Magescq
Today the third race of the French sand championship was held in Magescq. Milko Potisek was the fastest on the sand at Bud Racing Training Camp. He previously also won the race in Berck-sur-Mer. Potisek was able to hold off Todd Kellett and Lars van Berkel.
Yentel Martens finished fifth. Daymond Martens finished in P9. A great performance also came from Twan van Essen, who remained within the top twenty with an 18de place. In the standings, Potisek and Kellett remain very close to each other.
In the Promising category, the Frenchman Amaury Maindru won the competition ahead of the Dutchman Douwe van Mechgelen, who finished very well in second place. He was given a 1-minute penalty for not standing completely on the environmental mat while refueling. Van Mechgelen didn't even know that he was in second place after the flag.
In the Juniors, Quentin-Marc Prunières won the race ahead of Simon Depoers and the Belgian Junior Bal. The Coenen brothers also traveled to Magescq to participate. They were at the front of the race until Sacha dropped out of the front. Lucas was able to cross the line nicely in fourth place.
Yesterday the quads were already working in Magescq. The competition was won by Romain Couprie. The two fast Belgians Davino Bruneel and Oliver Vandendijck finished third and seventh respectively. Frenchman Jean-Marie Bernede leads the standings ahead of Davino Bruneel.
The next competition for the Championnat de France sur Sable is already next weekend in Hossegor.
