Shoulder injury ends Liam Everts' season
On Saturday morning, Liam Everts had an unfortunate fall during time training in Mantova. A scan in the hospital today made it clear that the injury is slightly worse than initially thought. Everts suffered a small fracture in the shoulder blade in his crash.
The 17-year-old Belgian was fourth in the EMX250 until this weekend. On Instagram, Liamski stated that his season is now over. “This injury means that my season will end one match earlier than expected. Thank you to all my sponsors and family for this season. Motivated for 2022!”
Everts made both his GP and MX of Nations debut this year. The Foodmaker KTM Liamski rider performed well in both competitions. Next season Everts will start his first full World Cup season.
