Jed Beaton returns to F&H Kawasaki Racing Team
After three seasons of Rockstar Husky, Jed Beaton returns to F&H Kawsaki Racing Team. The 23-year-old Australian also rode for the team from Moordrecht in 2018. With the signing of Beaton the team also makes its debut in the MXGP class!
Beaton achieved F&H Racing's first podium finish during the 2018 Portuguese GP. Due to an injury that year, the season ended prematurely, but at that time Beaton occupied sixth place in the MX2 standings of the MX2 World Championship. This year Beaton finished fifth in the MX2 World Championship.
Jed Beaton: “I am very happy to sign with F&H Kawasaki Racing Team again. We have achieved great things together in the past and I feel we can do the same now in MXGP. It's a big step for both myself and the team, but we're both ready for it.”
Nathalie Fase (team manager): “We are very much looking forward to our renewed partnership with Jed, as he has always been part of our family. The fact that Jed returns to us says something about our mutual trust and the bond we have with each other. In 2018 we achieved our first MX2 podium with him and we want to take on this exciting challenge in MXGP together. We are confident that it will be another great collaboration.”
Steve Guttridge (Racing Manager – Kawasaki Motors Europe): “We are really looking forward to adding Jed to the MXGP line-up on our KX450 with F&H Kawasaki Racing Team! The team continues to grow and learn quickly every season. It was therefore the right way forward for KME for 2022 to be present in the MXGP with a top team and a talented rider combination with more green.”
