De Wolf: “I made it difficult for myself”
During the French Grand Prix, Kay de Wolf managed to finish in the points in both rounds. In the first moto the Brabander did not get further than 19th place, but fortunately the second moto went better for the Husqvarna rider. Here the 17-year-old rider tells his story about the race in Lacapelle-Marival.
Kay de Wolf:
“Today was a very educational day for me. Despite the crash in the first moto, there are a lot of positive things we can take from here. It was a difficult track to overtake but that was the same for everyone. This made the starts very important. By falling in the first moto I made it difficult for myself. Fortunately I was able to continue and an eleventh place in the second moto was certainly not bad. It's not the best result I've achieved here, but I'm unscathed and excited for the next match."
