MXGP: Jeremy Seewer fastest in qualifying
Jeremy Seewer lit the fuse in the MXGP timed training on his fourth lap. No one managed to displace the vice world champion from the top position. Jeffrey Herlings stranded 49 thousandths from Seewer. Tony Cairoli, Romain Febvre and Pauls Jonass completed the top 5.
Mathys Boisrame, Ivo Monticelli's replacement in the Kawasaki MXGP factory team, qualified tenth, just after Glenn Coldenhoff.
