Bogers: "It wasn't a bad day for me"
Both Brian Bogers and teammate Pauls Jonass look back on the German Grand Prix with satisfaction. The Latvian finished fourth while the Dutchman did well in eighth place. Jonass is currently seventh in the standings and Bogers is looking at tenth man Watson with seven GPs still on the calendar. Both Standing Construct-GasGas Factory Racing Team riders look back on the race in Teutschenthal here.
Paul's Jonass:
“It was a good day for me with good starts and good results. The only thing I'm missing is some intensity at the beginning of the heat. My speed is good, so if I can stay a little closer to the leaders in the initial phase, I may be able to make some gains. Together with the Standing Construct GasGas team, we have found a very good setup and with many races on hard tracks, I look forward to the coming period with confidence.”
Brian Bogers:
"It wasn't a bad day for me on this hard track. In the timed training I set a third fastest time, which meant a good start to the day. In the first moto I rode a bit stiff, which gave me hard arms and that was frustrating. I still managed to get a ninth place, which was good. In the second moto my riding was much better. I had a good first lap in which I came from eleventh to seventh place. I am very satisfied with today and I would like to thank my team and sponsors. It's a great day for the team here in Germany and I'm looking forward to the next Grand Prix in France where I hope to do the same."
