Only bruises for Marcel Conijn
The fifth race of the European 250cc Championship went very differently than expected for Marcel Conijn. The KTM rider failed to qualify after a collision at the Teutschenthal circuit. The Terschelling motocross rider came into contact with a rider who was standing still on the circuit. During the crash, Conijn's thigh hit the driver's rear fender hard. The result is a large bruise on his thigh. Fortunately there are no fractures, hopefully it will be possible to drive in France next week.
