ISDE: Verona has taken its day's victory!
Anyone who started to find the International Six Days Enduro a bit monotonous was served on day four! GasGas factory rider Andrea Verona broke the dominance of Josep Garcia. The Italians also continue to dominate in the country rankings.
Due to the limited visibility - remember - one of the six tests was not completed. Andrea Verona didn't let it get to him, this time he won the scratch with a bonus of 2,89 seconds over Josep Garcia.
Briefly noted
- In the World Trophy, Italy leads Spain by 5:01, with the US following more than 7 minutes
- The Swede Mikael Persson confirmed his status as a revelation. He finished third again in the scratch after an exciting battle with the Italian Matteo Cavallo (TM)
- The test of the day was between a vineyard. More than 10 minutes of driving between vineyards, you must have seen it or better yet experienced it!
- Although the Swedes can also count on a strong Albin Elowson in addition to Person, the battle for P4 is not (completely) over yet. The French (Théo Espinasse, Hugo Blanjoue, David Abgrall, Antoine Basset) are 45 seconds behind.
- In the Junior Trophy, the fall of the American Austin Walton was the news of the day. He injured his right shoulder and lost a lot of time, meaning the US is now fourth.
- Nothing changed at the folds. Team USA was even further ahead of everyone, while Team GB consolidated its second place
