Benoit Paturel replaces Marvin Musquin in the French MXON team
The French federation announced today that Marvin Musquin has withdrawn from the Motocross of Nations on September 25 & 26. The Red Bull KTM rider will be replaced by Benoit Paturel (Honda SR Motobluz)! After the good news about Musquin, his contract extension for 2022, now less good news. Because the French veteran is still struggling with the after-effects of a Covid infection, he cannot train as he should in preparation.
National coach Pascal Finot will therefore go to the World Championship for national teams with the trio Tom Vialle in MX2, Mathys Boisramé in Open and Benoit Paturel in MXGP. Paturel already won the Motocross of Nations in 2016 with team France.
