The Arai MX-V Stanton Replica now available
The Japanese helmet manufacturer has a strong track record. The MX-V off-road helmet is a product of years of development specifically for motocross and enduro. And now there is the amazing Stanton Replica.
The MX-V evolved from the much-loved VX-3 model. Years of experience can be found in this ultimate off-road helmet. The perfect choice for MX, Enduro and off-road use. As in every Arai helmet, the basic and simple organic shell shape is based on the R75 Shape concept. The absence of exaggerated edges or protrusions on the shell is not a lack of creativity, but a commitment to maintaining the integrity of a rounder, stronger and smoother shell.
The Arai MX-V off-road helmet offers maximum protection and optimal comfort without losing sight of practical features. Both the interior, the cheek pads and the neck roll are easily removable and washable. Naturally, these are made of dry-cool material for even more comfort. The cheek pads are equipped with the Emergency Release system. In addition, the MX-V has a rubber nose piece in the visor opening that ensures that the goggles stay perfectly in place. A newly designed peak minimizes both lifting and contamination of the helmet.
Fit and safety are uncompromising requirements at Arai. That is why there are three sizes of outer shells that are manufactured using the extremely strong and dimensionally stable Complex Laminate Construction with Superfiber. The EPS inner shell ensures maximum absorption of an impact because it is made up of multiple layers with various densities.
Naturally, the new shell complies with the Arai R75 concept with a stronger, rounder and smooth outer shell. For the same reason, the chin piece has been kept short and spoilers and the peak have been developed in such a way that they break off in the event of a heavy fall. The ventilation system of the MX-V is very extensive without affecting the strength of the helmet shell. The grille in the chin piece is attached to the outside and designed in such a way that it remains in place even when stones hit and does not shoot inwards. In addition, it is easy to disassemble and clean.
There was already a Barcia version and now there is a Stanton Replica with the recognizable design from the 90s. This helmet costs 620 euros and can be ordered from your local motocross dealer.
