ADAC Dreetz 85cc: Top-5 for Doensen and Van Drunen
The first round of the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 in Dreetz went to Latvian Janis Martins Reisulis ahead of leader Markus Ozolins. Lotte Van Drunen, good for pole this morning, was in the fight for second place but had to settle for fifth place due to an early fall.
Gyan Doensen, winner earlier this summer during the MX Master Kids, was also doing well. Gyan had a view of being in the top 3 for a long time, but had to let the eventual winner pass, but finished fourth just after the Hungarian Noel Zanocz, who took bronze at the Youth World Championships in Greece.
It became a difficult series for Levi Schrik. Schrik won the three 85cc heats during the previous ADAC race in Tensfeld. Now he did not get further than P11 after a poor start.
