Zonta wins, Cambré takes seventh place
Filipo Zonta had the best start to the European Open Championship in Maggiora. The 23-year-old Italian won the first heat ahead of Nicolas Dercourt and Simone Croci. The best Laaglander is Jilani Cambré, the Yamaha rider finished seventh while Micha Boy de Waal crossed the finish line in 17th. Kevin Van Geldorp scores two points with a 19th place. The other KNMV riders did not manage to get into the points.
