Clément Desalle's Enduro debut in the Trèfle Lozérien
A few weeks ago the news came that Clément Desalle will focus on the Enduro competition. Last weekend he made his debut at the famous Trèfle Lozérien, a classic on the Enduro calendar.
Desalle finished 11thde on Friday. On Saturday he scored a creditable 17de place but on Sunday he drove to a great 5de cutting. The first enduro of the MX Panda can therefore be called a success. Also found on the participants list: François Lemariey, ex mechanic and team manager of Desalle at the Kawasaki Racing Team.
Clement Desalle: “I started in Enduro, together with Antoine Méo we have a good team and we are having a great time. As far as the internships go, they are a bit long, but you get used to it. I enjoy the special stages and I discover new things like riding on pasture and slopes. I am also learning to deal with an 18″ rear wheel and the FIM homologated tires, it is different from what I am used to from motocross. I ride in beautiful places and that is what is important. Today with my track it was complicated in SP2 and 3 with the rain but I did my best like in SP5 where I tried to attack! "
Christophe Nambotin won the 35th edition. The Sherco rider, who already won the French classic in 2012, takes his second Trèfle Lozérien. With Jérémy Tarroux in second place, Sherco achieved a nice double.
