Belgians are once again heading to Farleigh Castle with a strong team
Who doesn't remember the last edition of the Motocross of the Nations for Veterans at Farleigh Castle? Last year there was no Vets MXdN for the known reason, but it was in 2019 that the Belgians wiped the floor with the competition with a super team in the EVO class.
Well, the same quartet will head to Farleigh Hungerford Castle to take another shot at the big-eared cup. Filip Van Dijck, Sven Breugelmans, Ken de Dycker and Steve Ramon will battle against the other teams for two days. Team manager Danny Scheers has managed to use the foursome a second time for the most prestigious vintage motocross of the year.
Danny Scheers would ride the individual twin-shock series himself on board a “Geboers 500”. Of course, they have made a lot of progress in England with the COVID-19 vaccines, which makes the race in Farleigh seem like a certainty. There are of course still questions about the number of pilots from other regions such as the US, Australia, New Zealand and Italy. Just like in 2019, our colleagues from MXVintage will be present to provide you with results, photos and videos.
