Gregoire and Karnebeek take victory in Italy
This weekend the first race of the FMI Italian Youth Championship 'North' was held at the Cremona circuit. The country is divided into two regions and after two qualifying competitions the best youth riders compete in two final competitions. The first race went well for Team Youth Pro MX. Both Yuel Karnebeek (65cc Debutanti) and Dean Gregoire (85cc Junior) won their class.
Karnebeek won both heats, Dion Brakke finished third. Gregoire came second and first, which gave him the victory of the day. Dani Heitink managed to finish third after scoring a third and second place. Jannes Vos finished twelfth in the overall standings. In the 65cc Cadets, Chento van Zoest finished sixth and his Belgian teammate Noam Mezzavilla scored thirteenth. In the 85cc Senior, Lotte van Drunen finished fifth, followed by Jayson van Drunen.
The next race will be at the Albettone circuit next week.
