VIDEO: MX World part 3 with Jeffrey Herlings
Last year, Jeffrey Herlings suddenly had to cancel his World Cup with a nasty injury. In Faenza he fell during training and remained numb for several minutes. The Bullet has now fully recovered and is aiming for a fifth world title this year.
This would put him in the illustrious list of riders with five world titles. These are Roger De Coster, Eric Geboers, Joël Smets and Georges Jobé. Herlings is considered by many to be one of the fastest motocross riders on the planet, but that has not yet translated into the number of world titles. However, he has already won 90 GPs! That is two fewer than his stablemate Tony Cairoli and so Jeffrey can also take a shot at Stefan Everts' record this year, who won 101 GPs.
Will Jeffrey Herlings be ready to battle Tim Gajser, Tony Cairoli and Jorge Prado once again in June? And can he avoid injuries and take a shot at a fifth title?
