Marco Maddii about Fantic's two Italian titles
The Internazionali d'Italia Motocross went well for Fantic and therefore also Fantic Factory Team Maddii Racing. The 125cc title was won with Hakon Osterhagen. In the MX2 class, Nicholas Lapucci showed his best side by winning two of the three races. As a crowning achievement, the 22-year-old Italian also won the title. This all happened under the leadership of Marco Maddii, whose team will be in charge of Fantic's sporting motocross branch from this season onwards.
Marco Maddii: “This was a memorable day for Fantic and ourselves. I believe that what happened today is incredible, because last winter we could not even think of such an outcome. Our hearts were filled with joy as we saw Hakon and Nicholas crowned champions. It's especially incredible because Nicholas takes his MX2 victory with his Fantic 250cc 2-stroke. We really can't believe it and are overjoyed! Now we are all looking forward to the rest of the season, we know we are on the right track and can stay there.”
