Draw for Vialle and Geerts, Van de Moosdijk fifth
The eighth Grand Prix of the season ended in a draw for Tom Vialle and Jago Geerts. The Frenchman (2-1) wins the GP ahead of Geerts (1-2). The podium is completed by Jed BEaton (4-3). Roan van de Moosdijk scores well, the Eindhoven native finishes fifth and rises to fifth place in the World Cup. Nothing changes at the front, Vialle continues to lead with 21 points. Nathan Renkens (18-17) and Cyril Genot (20-20) managed to score in both rounds.

The best start is for Vialle, but Geerts goes inside at the exit of the first corner. The Belgian is followed by Vialle, Thomas Kjer Olsen, Bailey Malkiewicz and Van de Moosdijk. The leader in the standings immediately attacks Geerts and with success! Van de Moosdijk takes over fourth place from the Australian. After more than ten minutes, Geerts returns to Vialle and the Balenaar takes the lead! He then breaks free while Maxime Renaux and Jed Beaton pass Van de Moosdijk's Kawasaki. The Frenchman goes in pursuit of Kjer Olsen and he finds the connection, but due to two falls he loses many places. Beaton comes close to Kjer Olsen in the final phase, causing the Dane to increase the pressure on Vialle. Geerts wins ahead of his French title rival followed by Negaan MX rider Kjer Olsen and Beaton. The top five is completed by Conrad Mewse and Van de Moosdijk. Renkens scores three points again, the Team NR83 rider crosses the finish line in 18th and IXS Yamaha rider Genot takes a point by crossing the finish line in 20th.

Vialle is also the best starter in the second round, followed by KEMEA riders Ben Watson and Geerts. Van de Moosdijk follows closely in fourth place ahead of Kevin Horgmo. He tries to pass the Kawasaki rider and that ensures that Beaton passes both the Norwegian and the Dutchman. The Australian is clearly looking forward to it because he also passes Geerts! When Watson goes down, Beaton can gain a position after which Geerts tries to increase the pace. He has to because leader Vialle builds up a six-second lead over Beaton. With ten minutes to go, Geerts takes second place from Beaton, but Vialle cannot be outdone and wins his fourth GP of the season. Geerts comes second ahead of Beaton, who manages to score his first podium place since 2018. Van de Moosdijk comes fourth ahead of Watson, who just manages to stay out of the hands of Kjer Olsen. Renkens scores four points in seventeenth place and now Genot takes the last point.
After a free weekend, the GP season continues at the end of September at the Mantova circuit.
