Kay Karssemakers most regular in France!
The lowlanders made a positive impression at the Bud Training Camp circuit in Magesq in the 125cc. Kay Karssemakers took the final victory thanks to two 2nd places! Karssemakers' MJC Yamaha teammates also did a great job. Mairis Pumprus won the second round, Ivano Van Erp finished fifth (5-4).
Home driver Quentin Prugnieres (Bud Racing) had won the opening series, but Karssemakers immediately made a great impression. In the second series Kay took over command halfway. Unfortunately, the series victory was not possible because the ex-65cc world champion crashed while overtaking a car behind him. Without pushing hard, Karrsemakers finished second again.
It was a difficult day for Lucas Coenen, but the 13-year-old KTM rider performed well. After his twin brother Sacha's victory yesterday in the 85cc, Lucas finished sixth today (7-6). In the first series he had to deal with a problem with his glasses after three quarters of the race, while he was one of the fastest on the track for half the race. Lucas sent his 125 SX to the holeshot in the final race. He finished sixth in the wake of Prugnieres.
