Gajser surprised for the amount of sand GPs!
In Honda's press release as a 'preview' of the upcoming races of the FIM MXGP World Championship, Timn Gajser states that he is surprised by the amount of sand in the Grand Prix. The two-time MXGP champion is tipped as Jeffrey Herlings' biggest opponent in the current championship. Due to all the sand competitions, the KTM rider is still an example to win his second title.
Response: “I was really surprised to see the new calendar, especially to see three races in Kegums and also three races in Lommel. All in the deep sand. However, it is no different, so I know that we will have to work hard to be able to resist in the title fight. I'm just really looking forward to riding again after such a long break. I miss the races, the weekends on the track and the support of the fans. So I'm excited to be back behind the starting gate again.”
